Hash One

Holistic brand development

My Role: Founder & Creative Director.

Naming, Brand Identity, Tone of Voice, Copywriting, Apparel Design, UX/UI, 3D, and Motion Design.

Climbing apparel usually falls into two traps: over-engineered neon tech-wear or generic cotton that rips on the first crux. I wanted gear that belongs on the rock and looks sharp on the street. Nobody was making it. So I built it myself—from absolute zero.

Naming & Identity: The Meaning in the Minimal

Why (#)HASH ONE? It is the first mark. The starting point. The grit of chalk on a hold.

The visual identity strips away the unnecessary. I designed a bold, geometric logo that scales flawlessly from a mobile header to an embroidered patch. The color palette is rooted in nature and concrete—high contrast, but the form is to intrigue.

Climbing is vertical sport - I wanted to create a logo which will follow the climber

Product Design: Wearable Architecture

I stepped out of the digital space and into the physical. I didn't just slap a logo on a blank tee. I designed the cuts, sourced breathable, durable fabrics, and tested the prototypes on the wall. Every seam is placed to allow a full range of motion. It’s apparel engineered for gravity.

UX/UI: Frictionless Flow

An e-commerce site shouldn’t feel like a spreadsheet; it should feel like an extension of the brand. I designed a clean, minimalist UI with a brutalist edge. The user experience is strictly intuitive—no dead ends, no visual clutter, just a seamless and immersive path to checkout.

Social & Content: Raw Output

Social media isn’t a dump for excess content; it’s the front line of the brand. I built and managed the Hash One channels from the ground up to operate like an editorial magazine. I directed and executed every photoshoot, blending raw climbing action with highly stylized studio portraiture. Alongside the photography, I designed all graphic assets and managed the grid. No stock imagery. No algorithmic pandering. Just authentic climbing culture captured through a rigorous, minimalist lens. Every post is a deliberate flex of art direction designed to stop the scroll and establish authority.

The Result

Hash One isn't just a clothing line. It's a study in end-to-end creative direction. From the first click on the website to the first chalk mark on the pants, every touchpoint was deliberately curated. It proves that when vision, storytelling, and creative technology align, the result isn't just a product. It's a culture.
